Something dependable.  The sun rising and setting everything was the constant factor in her life that never failed her.  Like clockwork.  That’s why she loved the sunrises and the sunsets.  When everyone left her and gave up when the tides turned on her, the sun followed those tides and kept on going.  Nothing else had and who knows, maybe that’s all she’d ever have that she wouldn’t lose, unless the sun finally died and led the earth into deep oblivion.
